A day typically starts with my daily commute. I’m Essex/Greater London-based and it generally takes an hour. It’s been a wonderful year at Essex with many successes and memories made. It’s been fantastic to have support from our alumni in a variety of ways and we hope everyone has enjoyed starting or continuing their lifelong membership of Essex.
My time at Essex was swift, yet wonderful. It was one year that went by way too quickly and I didn’t understand how much I really enjoyed it until afterwards.
We’ve had a great 2017 here in the alumni team at Essex – because we’ve shared it with so many of you – and these are the bits we liked best. We hope you’ve felt real benefits this year from your lifelong membership of Essex, and have a great 2018.
Networking – the very word used to strike fear into my heart.

After graduation, a holiday and a short stint studying abroad, it was about time I got a job. And so began the search!
